Artist's Description

Here's a raccoon with her apron in her kitchen making the noonday meal at her old fashioned red stove in her quaint kitchen. Outside you can see her vegetable garden protected by a fence, and in the distance are rolling green hills, a bit of a cloud, and blue sky.

About Jacquelin L Westerman

Jacquelin L Westerman

Art is fun and has always been a passion for me. I began drawing seriously in my teens. In my twenties I began painting in oils and then learned watercolors in my thirties. In my forties I learned how to paint with gouache, and in my fifties taught myself colored pencils, then later on mastered acrylics. I've discovered for myself that painting miniatures (baseball card sizes ACEO's) are very successful for me. In between all of that I worked as a graphic designer/illustrator and and used Photoshop, Illustrator, and a number of other programs to create artwork. In the early 2000's I attended college where I learned 3D animation but my first love is using the paintbrush.
